Attend Meetings & Rallies

Our fight to stop the closure of our schools is gaining momentum, and we need YOU to show up and make your voice heard! Below is a calendar of upcoming community meetings, protests, rallies, and town halls where your presence can make a real difference.

Every person who attends strengthens our message. Whether you can make it to one event or all of them, your support is critical.

Wednesday, March 26 – 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
First community forum to be held at High School North Auditorium

Monday, March 31 – 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Second community forum to be held at Thompson Gymnasium

Tuesday, April 1 – TBD
School district to distribute survey seeking feedback on budget options

Tuesday, April 8
School board to hold executive session and discuss community feedback

Wednesday, April 9 – 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Third community forum to be held at High School North Auditorium from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The district plans to receive feedback on budget alternatives.

Thursday, April 10 – 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Fourth community forum to be held at High School South Gymnasium from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., again to gather feedback on budget alternatives.

Wednesday, April 30 – 7:30 pm
School board is expected to take a final vote on the budget for the 2025-2026 school year, including the possible closure of Navesink and Leonardo elementary schools and displacement of Bayshore middle school students. Typically the open portion of these meetings starts at 7:30 p.m., following an executive session among board members at 7 p.m.
